Today marked another educational day of my yoga teacher training journey. It began with an adjustment class led by Ernesto., who shared his uplifting Spotify music playlist with the group. The melodies helped us start the day with a positive note.

Later in the day, we delved into the profound concepts of Yamas and Niyamas with Esperanza. Her teachings provided a fresh perspective, not only in our philosophy class but also in the way we approach life and our practice. The principles of Yamas and Niyamas, guiding ethical and moral conduct, offered valuable insights into the yogic path, encouraging self-reflection and growth. I was mindful of taking down notes as it is a lot to take in terms of information.

However, amidst our philosophical explorations, the highlight of the day was the rainfall in the evening. Rain has always held a special place in my heart, as it never ceases to bring me joy and serenity. As the rain continued, Esperanza decided to dismiss us 15 minutes early from our balancing poses class. Many of us left our manuals in the Shala due to the unexpected downpour, but it was a small inconvenience in exchange for the happiness that nature's shower brought me.

For dinner, I relished a comforting and hearty spinach soup, a meal that perfectly complemented the day's events and left me with a deep sense of satisfaction and contentment.
