Walking Meditation

Today proved to be quite intense due to a series of meditative practices we did. We kicked off our day with a walking meditation practice. We walked along the shore as the ocean waves washed over our feet. I was initially concentrating on the mantra to stay focused, but eventually, I let my mind just wander off.
In doing so, I discovered a mix of emotions surfacing within me. Beneath the surface of those emotions, I began to understand why certain aspects of my life had unfolded differently than I had envisioned. I also gained clarity about why things hadn't gone as planned in my life and why my path differs from others I know.
Upon reflecting on my life, I realized that I was exactly where I was meant to be. The universe responded in its own divine timing, manifesting those experiences in my life for which I had set an intention.
