Today marked the 13th day at the YTT200 program. Amidst the ongoing confusion that surrounds me, I find solace in the depths of my quiet contemplation. I am aware that some of the answers I seek reside within, while others will gradually reveal themselves along this path of personal growth and spiritual awakening. Each day presents itself as a stroke on the canvas of my existence, and though I am uncertain about the final masterpiece, I choose to place my trust in the process.
Today, Esperanza arranged for a session with a shamanic chakra lady, someone who possesses a unique ability to connect with the energies of the universe and helps with the overall wellbeing. This wise lady identified imbalances in my heart chakra and throat chakra. I could guess where the imbalances lied even before the session began, as I had carried the weight of these imbalances for more than half of my life. After the session, it felt as if a heavy weight was lifted off my chest.
During the session, a dear friend from my yoga group, Paula, generously volunteered to be my translator. Her presence was a comforting and supportive addition to the experience, enabling me to fully immerse myself in the session. Paula, too, embraced the opportunity and received her own mini chakra session, further deepening our connection and shared journey towards healing.
An imbalanced heart chakra can manifest as feelings of loneliness, while an unsettled throat chakra can impede one's capacity for free expression. She offered her guidance on how to maintain balance and release, back to the universe, what no longer serves me after thanking for the experience.
The session held a profound lesson for me. Much of our suffering, stems from clinging too tightly to people and fleeting experiences. Considering the transient nature of this life, we should adopt the mindset of a traveler—appreciating our surroundings, cherishing the people we encounter, and savoring the beauty of experiences without succumbing to being overly attached.
